Billionaire Elon Musk has said bitcoin is a better investment than owning fiat currency — but only just.

Following his firm Tesla’s $1.5bn bitcoin purchase earlier this month, Musk tweeted on 19 February that “when fiat currency has negative real interest, only a fool wouldn’t look elsewhere”.
