Thames River Capital, the hedge fund specialist, has appointed both Paul Thursby and Peter Geikie-Cobb as bond specialists.

Thursby, like many Thames River managers, hails from Baring Asset Management, where he ran the Baring Global Bond Trust, while Geike-Cobb managed the Mercury Global Bond Trust, prior to a short stint at Insight Investment, the fund manager of arm of UK bank HBOS.
