DWS, Deutsche Bank’s listed asset management business, is ditching corporate titles for its roughly 3,600 employees in an effort to remove what it calls “hierarchical barriers” across the company.

According to an internal memo sent to DWS staff by chief executive Asoka Woehrmann and the board, titles such as vice-president and managing director will be eliminated from mid-2020.
