I’m a young single man working at a large bank and there’s a girl in the office I really like. I want to ask her out but #MeTooFinance has me a bit worried. What if she reports me to HR? I don’t have much opportunity to meet women outside work because of the crazy hours, but I also don’t want to blight my career.

As a woman, I find this sort of question baffling. It suggests that many men do not know what harassment is and view women as victims who will go running to HR at the faintest whiff of an office romance.
