A recruiter lamented to me last week that he had seen a rise in what he considered to be “very bad behaviour”. He was getting more bankers who had no intention of moving jobs, going through recruitment processes just to force their own employers to give them a pay rise.

To him this was a terrible waste of everyone’s time (and a terrible missing out of commission).
