The Careerologist: My boss doesn’t wash his hands

Can you respect your boss when a child has better hygiene? Also, is it too early for the winter coat?

The Careerologist: My boss doesn’t wash his hands

I sit close to the lavatories at work and we’ve had Dyson hand dryers installed. They are great but very noisy. I know who is drying their hands and by inference who isn’t washing their hands. How can I respect my boss when six-year-old children have better hygiene?

You should reframe his actions. Instead of thinking of him as an unhygienic oaf, think of him as a busy executive who is far too high powered to waste time with menial tasks like hand washing. I'm also told "many men" use their trousers.
