The government has published the full text of its more than 1,200-page agreement with the EU ahead of the end of the transition period on 31 December. But with less than a week to analyse its full impact, what does the document mean for those in financial services?

Admittedly, the detail is scant. Prime Minister Boris Johnson said the deal “perhaps does not go as far as we would like” for financial services, with key parts of UK-EU regulation for the sector still to be hammered out in the early months of 2021.
