The Hartford names six UK partners

Hartford Life, the UK arm of US investment and insurance giant The Hartford, has named Barclays, Fidelity, Invesco Perpetual, Investec, New Star and Schroders as the six firms who will manage funds of its flagship product, Hartford Gold.

Lincoln Collins, chief executive of Hartford Life, said: "By joining forces with leading fund managers with different investment styles, strengths and asset focus, we not only ensure that our customers receive best of breed fund management, but also that their investments can be fully diversified within our product."
