Investment banks may have hiked salaries for dealmakers as a pandemic boom has meant brutal hours, but other City jobs provide similar pay with less chance of burnout, according to a survey of compensation in the sector.

Jobs on the trading floor including quantitative and technology roles keep pace on pay with investment bankers, but place fewer demands on employees, according to a survey of 4,500 financial services professionals by jobs site eFinancialCareers.
