Bruno Iksil, the 'London Whale' trader at the centre of JP Morgan’s $6.2 billion trading losses, plans to launch his own website as part of a final bid to clear his name.
The Frenchman, who acquired his 'Whale' nickname for the size of his bets in the credit markets, said he wants to use the website to tell "the full story" of the trading scandal. He hopes it will help him rebuild his career in finance by giving former colleagues, industry associates and future employers a chance to understand what really happened.
