The new Spanish stock exchange

The new Bolsas y Mercados Españoles, Sociedad Holding de Mercados y Systemas Financieros, to give it its full name, will bring together in a single holding company Spain's four stock exchanges in Barcelona, Bilbao, Madrid and Valencia, its futures and options exchange Meff, the fixed-income market and traders association Aiaf, and the electronic trading system Senaf.

Meff, Aiaf and Senaf had already agreed in April to merge their operations.
