Brexit remains at the forefront of many financial institutions’ minds when it comes to hiring at the moment.

We are seeing a number of firms hire only on a replacement basis — both in the contract and permanent space. In previous years, especially around this time of year, hiring would be for growth in departments with firms having agreed budgets for the year ahead. This year is different.
