Much of the focus has been on the US, but problems with Italy and Brexit are causing investors to fret about the eurozone

It’s been a long time since global investors considered putting ‘Europe’ and ‘political risk’ in the same sentence, but it seems to have happened this week.

Thursday’s global stock market dive, which began in the US and soon spread to Asia and Europe, may not be, or not yet, quite the big correction analysts have long expected, as the global recovery peters out at the end of the longest equity bull market on record.
