Mike Platt, the co-founder of London-based BlueCrest Capital Management, remains the UK's richest hedge fund manager having added £600m to his fortune over the last 12 months.
Platt, who no longer manages third-party money but focuses on his own wealth, topped the ranking published by The Sunday Times as part of its 2018 Rich List.
