Attired in a Superman outfit, ING Barings' Malcolm Le May got on - and fell off - his bike in aid of the British Heart Foundation last week. On the hottest day of the year up to then, the bank's deputy chief executive rode 58 miles on the Brighton bike ride, raising £8,000 and making him one of the biggest fundraisers there.

Le May got together a group calling themselves the Sevenoaks Super Sevens.
