Staff at JP Morgan Investor Services in London were surprised last Wednesday to see Mark Tennant, senior vice-president, strolling around the office in full Scottish dress. Given that Tennant – a weekend laird – is known to bring out the bagpipes at any opportunity, they assumed he was supplementing his meagre Morgan wage with a spot of busking at Blackfriars tube station. It turned out Tennant had missed the charity dress-down day the previous Friday, and was keen to do his bit for a good cause. He ended up raising £500 for Schroders' 200th anniversary appeal on behalf of Macmillan Cancer Relief. It is understood he is a true Scotsman beneath his kilt.
