Chris Ford of Watson Wyatt is seeking to develop his US fan club via an internal move to head up a new WW global investment office in New York. He is going there with close associate Lesley Ann Morgan, plus Carl Hess and Ron Littler. European team leader Roger Urwin steps up to become global investment supremo. Ford was recently singled out as one of 25 investment professionals to keep an eye on during the next 25 years. Buoyed up by this, plus his promotion, Ford will be keeping a close eye on the success, or otherwise, of the upcoming float of the US arm of Watson Wyatt. Even though WW's European end remains a partnership, rich rewards for the State-siders will provide a handy remuneration benchmark in years to come.
