Just 1% of senior dealmakers at top investment banks in Europe are Black, Financial News can reveal, showing the stark lack of ethnic diversity in the financial sector three years on from the resurgence of the Black Lives Matter movement.

Black professionals comprise just 20 of the more than 1,500 dealmakers at director, managing director and partner level at the leading investment banks in Europe, according to exclusive numbers obtained by FN.
