Thoma Bravo to buy UK cyber security firm Darktrace in $5.3bn deal

American private equity firm Thoma Bravo has agreed to buy British artificial intelligence and cybersecurity company Darktrace in a $5.32bn cash deal.

Shares in the London-listed company were up 18% following the announcement.
