Peter Hald has been appointed managing director of Thomson Beta Systems, the securities processing services subsidiary of Thomson Financial.

A 13-year veteran at Thomson Financial, Hald will manage the continued integration of the MIS-Capital applications into the Thomson Beta Systems product suite. Thomson acquired privately held MIS Banking Systems in July 2001 for an undisclosed sum.
