Thomson ESG hires Chase as content provider

Thomson Financial ESG, a division of Thomson Financial, has signed a deal with the Chase Manhattan Bank to launch four new information management systems.

Chase will provide data and analytics for Thomson's new systems, which include a market fees and taxes service, a settlement date calculator and a system assessing settlement practices in different markets. Thomson assessed several custodians to see which could provide it with the best data, and decided that Chase's market penetration meant that it would be able to provide the most thorough information on markets worldwide.
