Threadneedle Investments, fund arm of American Express with around £45bn (€64.5bn) in assets under management, has beefed up its international equity offering with a number of senior hires, including that of Andrew Holliman who has joined from Baillie Gifford.
Threadneedle has also transferred to its London base $2bn (€1.7bn) in US mutual fund assets. The money was previously invested in international equities for US clients of American Express, which paid £340m for Threadneedle earlier this year.
