Threadneedle Investments has appointed Invesco Perpetual's top equities manager Graham Kitchen to head its UK equities division.

Kitchen was formerly co-head of investment at Invesco Perpetual, the UK arm of Invesco group. In his new role, he will lead Threadneedle's 20-strong UK equity team, which manages about £18bn (€26.4bn) of assets in retail and institutional money.
