Three quit Morgan Stanley for hedge funds

Three senior bankers in Morgan Stanley's European business have resigned from the bank to join hedge funds.

Stefano Russo, a director of Morgan Stanley in London and the bank's investment management co-head of European sales, will join Renaissance Technologies; Davide Serra, head of European banking research, will join The Children's Investment Fund Management, known as TCI; and Ben Funnell, co-head of European equity strategy, will move to GLG.
