The deputy to Barclays’ former investment banking chief Tim Throsby is leaving the bank, less than a week after the exit of his boss.
The exit of Art Mbanefo, who was appointed as Throsby’s deputy in 2017, was announced in an April 2 memo sent by chief operating officer Paul Compton, seen by Financial News. A Barclays spokesman confirmed his departure.
