Tidjane Thiam bows out with 69% profit rise at Credit Suisse

Net profits at Credit Suisse rose by more than two-thirds last year, allowing chief executive Tidjane Thiam to bow out of the Swiss bank on a high.

On 13 February, Credit Suisse reported net profits of 3.4bn Swiss francs (£2.7bn) for 2019, a 69% rise on the previous year. Revenues were up around 7.5% at CHF22.4bn.
