Time Warner's SEC settlement climbs to $750m

Time Warner, the world's largest media company, is understood to be nearing a record $750m (€573m) settlement with the Securities and Exchange Commission over charges that the company's America Online unit engaged in accounting fraud.

The Washington Post has reported, citing undisclosed sources, that the settlement would be $750m and that Time Warner would not admit any wrongdoing.
