Times Ten, a provider of real-time event processing software, has released a new version of its system that can handle twice as much traffic and allows more users to access data at the same time.
Tim Shetler, vice-president of marketing for Times Ten, said the product is a processing infrastructure similar to a relational database. The platform enables real-time programme trading, risk management and derivatives calculations. It sits underneath front-office trading systems and connects to a firm's database for data storage.
