A former deputy head of European equity research at Barclays has re-emerged to lead a team at investment banking rival RBC Capital Markets.

Julian Easthope, the former head of luxury goods equity research at Barclays who left at the beginning of this year, has joined the Canadian bank as a managing director to lead leisure sector research.
