Top executives say German tax reforms ‘insane'

Investment bankers in Germany have criticised company tax reforms proposed by the coalition government, adding their voice to the campaign against the changes.

The bankers attacked the proposal to remove the tax-deductible status of interest payments as part of a package of reforms that would bring down the headline rate of corporation tax from 39% to just over 30%.
