Alex Jenkins is only 35 but has already had quite a career. In January, she nabbed the role of head trader — the first such post for a new in-house trading desk at boutique London asset manager Polar Capital.

She speaks with Financial News about the trajectory that led her to her current position, why some of the best traders she knows are women, and what it’s like trading in lockdown during the pandemic.
