Nomura’s former head of rates options and exotics trading in Europe is set to make the switch to the buyside by joining multi-strategy hedge fund Balyasny Asset Management.

Ali Khan, who worked at the Japanese bank for 16 years, will join Balyasny in London, according to people familiar with the matter. His job title could not be confirmed.
