Hedge funds record longest winning streak in 13 years
The global hedge fund sector has recorded the eighth consecutive month of positive returns, with the Fund Weighted Composite Index - tracked by Hedge Fund Research - rising 3.4% year-to-date, marking its longest winning run in 13 years. Hedge funds saw inflows of $6.7bn in the three months ended June, boosting assets to a record $3.1tn. (FT)
