TowerBrook Capital Partners has reached an agreement to buy a controlling stake in a European copper refining and metal recycling company, marking the London and New York-based private equity firm’s third deal in under two months.
The mid-market buyout firm, which spun out from Soros Fund Management, the fund manager founded by George Soros, in 2005, has agreed to buy Metallum Holding for an undisclosed sum, according to a statement from Towerbrook.
