Townsend Analytics, provider of market data and trading solutions, is expanding its European capacity with a new office in London headed up by ex-Reuters and Instinet executive Rustam Lam.

Townsend has entered the competitive European direct access trading market in order to better service its existing clients, and also to expand its presence here. Townsend has traditionally been strongest in the US in the buyside institutional trading space.
