TP ICAP is planning a £2m boost to its chief executive’s maximum pay package after competition forced the City broker to offer new senior managers higher deals than its long-serving boss.

The FTSE 250 firm has proposed changes to its remuneration policy which could see CEO Nicolas Breteau’s maximum annual pay jump to £4.83m, according to its annual report.
