TP Icap has turned to a former executive at the Toronto Stock Exchange to lead its data and analytics business, which has attracted growing interest from investors hunting for financial information.

The interdealer broker, which stands between trades in the wholesale financial, energy and commodities markets, said Eric Sinclair will become the chief executive of its information services business.
