TP Icap loses head of fund management broking team

Sam Ruiz, who has led the institutional services division since 2016, has been replaced internally by John Ruskin

TP Icap has appointed a new head of its business executing trades for fund managers, which the broker's chief executive is keen to grow at a faster rate.

Sam Ruiz, who has led the institutional services division since 2016, has left and been replaced internally by John Ruskin. Ruskin joined TP Icap following its £7.1m acquisition of the institutional broker Coex Partners last November.
