TP Icap has hired a seasoned US financial regulator to become its global head of compliance, marking the interdealer broker’s latest effort to strengthen its management team.

Amir Zaidi spent nine years at the US Commodity Futures Trading Commission, which regulates the derivatives markets, and most recently led its division of market oversight for swap data repositories.
