Morgan Stanley has become the latest major bank to crack down on staff for using WhatsApp — part of a wider move by banks to limit the use of messaging platforms they cannot monitor.

Jay Rubenstein, Morgan Stanley’s head of commodities trading, and Nancy King, the bank’s global head of commodities, are both reportedly leaving Morgan Stanley after an investigation into using unauthorised messaging platforms.
