Trading and provisions hit Commerzbank

Flat trading revenes in Commerzbank's corporate and investment bank along with higher provisions against bad loans contributed to a 20% fall in group pre-tax profits.

Operating profits climbed 34% in the corporates and markets business to €158 ($201m) on the back of higher commission fees and a decline in equity held against risk.
