Blackstone appoints senior exec in Japan
US buyout firm Blackstone has hired Katsuyuki Kuki as chairman and representative director for Japan. Kuki, who previously worked at JPMorgan, will advise on investment and capital raising in Japan as the firm expands its presence in the country.

Unigestion bulks up in Paris
Boutique asset manager Unigestion has hired Philippe de Vandiere as senior vice president for its institutional clients team in Paris. De Vandiere joins from Allianz Global Investors, Paris, where he was part of the institutional sales team.
