Ex-Deutsche distribution head joins ETF platform
HANetf, a white label exchange traded funds platform, has recruited David Patterson as director of sales for the UK and Ireland, as part of its efforts to build its distribution team. Patterson, who will report to HANetf co-chief executive Hector McNeil, has 10 years' experience of ETF distribution. He was most recently at Deutsche Asset Management, where he was head of UK wholesale distribution. He has also worked at Mellon Global Investments and Newton Fund Managers.

CME names regional sales chiefs
CME Group, the derivatives marketplace, has boosted its international client development efforts with the appointment of sales heads for Europe and Asia. Michel Everaert, who joined the group in 2011 and was most recently international head of sales for the commercials team, takes the Europe post. He succeeds the retiring Kevin Collins. Tim Smith joins from Deutsche Securities Asia, where he was head of listed derivatives for Hong Kong, to fill the Asia role.
