Quaero hires Brevan Howard Geneva COO
Geneva-based asset manager Quaero Capital appointed Francesco Samson as its group chief operating officer. Samson joins from Brevan Howard in Switzerland, where he was head and chief operating officer of the Geneva office. Previously, he spent 10 years at the hedge fund EIM, as partner, group COO and member of the executive committee.

Liverpudlian investor hires for sales push
Seneca Investment Managers, a Liverpool-based multi-asset investment house, has appointed Helen O’Loughlin as a business development consultant. She will report to head of business development, Steve Hunter, and work with the IFA community. She joins from Premier Asset Management, where she had been sales executive.
