Citigroup bolstered its European technology team by hiring a new managing director, part of a broader buildout of dealmakers focused on the sector at the Wall Street lender. Davide Russo has joined Citi's technology deals team in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
The bank also disclosed this week it paid chief executive Jane Fraser $24.5m for 2022, up 9% from the prior year. Fraser received a $1.5m salary and a $3.45m cash bonus, according to a filing on 21 February.
