Trading Places: Citi loses Hargunani, UBS shakes up leveraged finance team

One of Citigroup’s top equity capital markets bankers in Europe is set to leave the US bank as it continues to reshape its senior dealmaking team. Suneel Hargunani, who has co-led its ECM business in Europe, the Middle East and Africa for five years, is departing after more than two decades with the Wall Street bank.

UBS named a new head of leveraged and debt capital markets as part of a broader shake-up of senior dealmakers. Marc Warm, who previously led leveraged finance at Credit Suisse, has been named global head of leveraged and debt capital markets. He takes over from London-based David Slade, who has moved into the role of vice-chair of global banking.
