Investcorp hires Rothschild veteran to lead European credit funds
Investcorp, the $21bn alternatives manager, has hired 24-year Rothschild veteran Phil Yeates as a managing director to run its European credit funds business. This new plank of its credit management unit was acquired from 3i in March 2017, and added $11bn to InvestCorp's assets under management. London-based Yeates will report to Jeremy Ghose, head of Investcorp Credit Management.

Legal & General adds senior trio for private credit
Legal & General Investment Management, the £951bn asset manager, has recruited three staff to its £25bn real assets division. Lorna Brown joins as head of real estate debt for Europe, the Middle East and Africa, Stuart Hitchcock as a senior portfolio manager, and Matthew Taylor as a senior investment manager for corporate private debt. Brown previously worked at Blackstone, Hitchcock at New York Life Investors and Taylor at HSBC.
