Fidelity hires for real estate research
Fidelity International has added to its European real estate business with the hire of Kim Politzer as director of research. She will be based in London and report to Neil Cable, head of European real estate. Politzer joins from Invesco's European research team and prior to that worked at BNP Paribas.

Aima appoints Canada head
The Alternative Investment Management Association, the trade body for hedge funds and other alternative investment managers, has named a new head of Canada. Claire Van Wyk-Allan takes over the role from April 2. She joins from RBC Global Asset Management, where she was a business development manager.
