HSBC hires in US institutional sales and FX PB
HSBC named Mark Miller head of institutional sales, Americas, based in New York. He will report locally to Gregory Pierce, head of markets, Americas, and globally to Patrick George, head of global markets institutional client group. Miller joined from Kroll Bond Rating Agency where he was senior managing director for business development. Michael Ferretti joined HSBC in the newly created role of regional head of global intermediary services Americas. He will be responsible for structuring and developing HSBC’s FX prime brokerage and promoting GIS across the region. Ferretti joined from Bank of America where he was director of FX prime brokerage.
Nordic fintech hires two
Erik Rehn was appointed sales director at equity crowdfunding platform Invesdor. He will be responsible for the company’s global business-to-business sales and will be country manager of its Finnish home market. Rehn previously led IBM’s Watson AI business in the Nordics. Mikko Kangasaho was appointed project manager in Invesdor’s IT team. Kangasaho joined from IT consultancy Eficode, where he was a programmer and project manager.
