Former Credit Suisse chief financial officer Dixit Joshi joined the board of hedge fund Man Group in his first new appointment since leaving the Swiss lender. Joshi was named non-executive director at Man Group and will join its audit and risk committee from 10 May.

Citigroup hired a senior trader from BNP Paribas for its London government bond trading desk, part of four new recruits for its markets division. Courtenay Watson is set to join Citigroup in August as a managing director on its European government bond trading desk.
